How do you think our President is doing and why aren't we giving him the same support now that he's in office that we did prior to him being elected?????????????
I believe President Barak Obama is doing the best he can and is allowed to do considering what he took on coming into this position. There is noooo way he can clean up what he was left with, keep every promise he made during election time, and please everybody. There are always going to be unhappy people. He is going to need these first 4years to clean up the mess former President Bush left him in order to get himself to do what he really wants to do. Maybe even longer than that. We shouldn't expect for him to do everything he promised. How many other presidents before him kept all their promises?
People aren't giving him the same support now as they did prior to him being elected because they feel as though they have been let down. He's trying everyting in his power, in my opinion, to do everything he can to get bills passed, our troops home, and whatever else he sees will benefit EVRYONE, but every step he make, he get pushed back 6 steps. He needs our support more than ever, NOW. But, people don't see that. In order for him to be able to do what he promised, he has to be re-elected in 2012 with strong numbers. This past election showed that we don't really want change. The only people who want change are the Republicans, "change everything back to how it used to be" (having us in shackles, in all aspects of OUR lives. Think about it , people.....
